So last night on vent Somebody comments an article stating that "americans shouldn't cosplay". found here http://www.morbidoptimism.com/asc.html.
Now the humor isn't lost on me. But for every single japanese image, the author cited an attractive person from a PROFESSIONAL PHOTO-SHOOT. And then simply found the ugliest person on planet earth dressed up as the same character to use for the "American". Not to mention The "American's" picture was taken with bad lighting at a comic-con on somebodies cell phone! I Put American in quotes because in all likelyhood not every white person in that image was American. And that makes sense. Because what we are really talking about here is "Non-JP". Yes at the core this is a battle for Non-Japanese and Japanese. I am simply going to call my non-jps Americans.
But now i am on a mission to prove what America is worth!
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE!
Post the Character (optional).
Then either a JP or a Non-JP person cosplaying as that character.
Then somebody must reply with the opposite nationality cosplaying that character better.
If no such image can be found then 1 point will be added to the original cosplayers nationality!
**Note** The importance of Japan winning this game will be lost if japan is never able to turn up cosplay that isn't professionally made! This isn't to say that no professional images can be posted. It's just that a cosplayers worth is determined without a team of people to make them look pretty!

**The System** From the time a picture is posted that team has the point until it is taken away. Although if a better cosplayer is found the point can be reclaimed! Its possible that some points will bounce back and forth endlessly. A running Tally will be kept form this post!

Updated : May 6, 6:13 pm est
-Changed orientation of lists from newest at top to oldest at bottom.
-Added page number next to each character. <CRT+F IS YOUR FRIEND>
-Added a "defeated list" to track who should or shouldn't be on it!
